We are based in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), located on the red sea near Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia.

We use biochemical techniques and molecular biology, in combination with CryoEM to understand the proteins involved in DNA replication and DNA repair. We closely collaborate with the group of Prof. Samir Hamdan, who is also based at KAUST.

We have access to the Thermo Scientific™ Krios™ G4 Cryo Transmission Electron Microscope through the core labs imaging facility, and other state of the art equipment, and services, such as mass spectroscopy and DNA sequencing through the KAUST core labs.
