Ammar is currently doing his PhD in KAUST. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 2018 from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, and a Master’s degree in biotechnology in 2022 from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland.

During his Msc, Ammar participated in a 6-month long Erasmus exchange program at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, where he developed his interest and skills in the molecular dynamics simulation of biomolecules.
