Postdoctoral Fellow

Biography

Phong is a postdoctoral fellow in Cryo-EM and DNA replication lab. He did his PhD in the Architecture et Fonction des Macromolécules Biologiques (AFMB) laboratory in Marseille, France, and the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas Margarita Salas (CIB margarita Salas) in Madrid, Spain.

Research Interests

He is interested in using Cryo-EM techniques to investigate DNA replication and DNA repair processes.

During his PhD, he won the EMBO Short-term Fellowship and ARC Fins de theses to pursue his work on investigating the interaction of Ty1 integrase with RNA Polymerase III by Cryo-EM.
